USFA Kids
Each year in the United States an estimated 2,800 children age 14 or younger are injured and 850 killed in residential fires. Of these children, over 40 percent are under the age five, 70 percent are under the age of 10. Because the majority of fire casualties occur in children under the age of 10, USFA Kids is targeted towards that age group.

Sparky the Fire Dog - NFPA
A few years ago, before you were born, a little Dalmatian puppy sat outside the fence at the school playground. The puppy loved watching the children play games and laugh. He longed to go inside and play with the children, but he was very shy, so he spent his days running back and forth alongside the fence, jumping, wagging his tail, and sometimes barking "hello."

IF YOUR CLOTHES CATCH FIRE:

Stop where you are...
Drop to the ground and cover your face...
Roll back and forth until the flames go out.
